We hope that you’ll be delighted with every FlashStick product, but just in case you have a problem, we’ve listed our returns policy below.

Our Returns Policy forms part of our terms and conditions (Terms) on which we sell each all FlashSticks (Products) listed on our website (our site) to you.

1. Your right of return and refund

1.1 You have a legal right to cancel a Contract under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000) during the period set out below in clause 1.3 below. This means that during the relevant period if you change your mind or for any other reason you decide you do not want to keep a Product, you can notify us of your decision to cancel the Contract and receive a refund. Advice about your legal right to cancel the Contract under these regulations is available from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.

1.2 When inspecting our FlashSticks product following delivery, you are prohibited from using the product in the way intended if you do not want your legal right to cancel and return the product set out in clause 1.1 to be adversely affected.

1.3 Your legal right to cancel a Contract starts from the date of the Dispatch Confirmation, which is when the Contract between us is formed, and ends 7 (seven) working days after you have received the Products. The 7 (seven) day period commences on the day after the day you received the Products. Working days means that Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays are not included in this period.

1.4 To cancel a Contract, please contact us in writing to tell us by sending an e-mail toinfo@flashsticks.com or please contact our Customer Services telephone line on 0843 2897 447. You may wish to keep a copy of your cancellation notification for your own records. If you send us your cancellation notice by e-mail, then your cancellation is effective from the date you sent us the e-mail. If you call us to notify us of your cancellation, then your cancellation is effective from the date you telephone us. When contacting us in accordance with this clause 1.4 you will need to provide us with your WorldPay transaction ID and thereafter you will be provided with a unique returns number and a returns form.

1.5 You will receive a full refund of the price you paid for the Products and any applicable delivery charges you paid for when originally ordering the Products. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 calendar days of the day on which you gave us notice of cancellation as described in clause 1.4. If you returned the Products to us because they were faulty or mis-described, please see clause 1.6.

1.6 If you have returned the Products to us because they are faulty or mis-described, we will refund the price of a defective Product in full, any applicable delivery charges, and any reasonable costs you incur in returning the item to us.

1.7 We will refund you using the same method used by you to pay.

1.8 If the Products were delivered to you:

(a) you must return the Products to us as soon as reasonably practicable along with a completed copy of the returns form we provided, which must include your unique returns number both on the returns form and on the outside of the packaging of the returned Product. If you do not comply with this clause1.8(a) then your refund may be delayed or the amount you are entitled to reduced by any costs we incur as a result of your non compliance;

(b) when returning Products to us you must take reasonable care in ensuring we receive the Products and that the Products when received by us are free from damage, accordingly we recommend any returned Products are well packaged and that you use a recognised courier and that insurance against the loss or damage of the Products is obtained;

(c) unless the Products are faulty or not as described (in this case, see clause 1.6), you will be responsible for the cost of returning the Products to us or, in the event you fail to comply with clause 1.8(a), the cost of us collecting the Products from you;

(d) you have a legal obligation to keep the Products in your possession and to take reasonable care of the Products while they are in your possession.

1.9 Details of your legal right to cancel and an explanation of how to exercise it are also provided in the Dispatch Confirmation.

1.10 As a consumer, you will always have legal rights in relation to Products that are faulty or not as described. These legal rights are not affected by the returns policy in this clause 1 or anything else contained in our Terms. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.

1.11 In accordance with clause 1.3, if you have purchased a FlashAcademy subscription and are unhappy with the service, you are entitled to a full refund within 7 days of purchase. The refund process varies depending on the operating system you are using. If you are using an Android device, please send a screenshot of your purchase invoice to team@flashsticks.com. If you are using an Apple device, you will need to process the refund with Apple themselves, as your subscription and payment is processed through the Apple App Store.
